I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a heart for vocational counseling and coaching. I am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified Vocational Evaluator, Vocational Expert with the Social Security Administration, Certified Life/Career Coach, and a Certified PGAP Provider. I have over 20 years of experience working with experienced workers, disabled workers, and youth to develop comprehensive career plans and paths based on personal strengths and preferences.
I grew up in the Huntsville area and graduated from Butler High School. I attended Auburn University where I received a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Services. I opened a private practice in 1986 and have provided services for more than 5,000 workers and students to help them discover work and careers that they are not only good at but enjoy doing as well. I now join Eagle Counseling to continue pursuing my belief that everyone can find happiness in not only who they are, but what they do. Did you know you will spend 76% of the best 40 years of your life working? Together we can develop a plan to spend this time achieving your personal best and doing something you love.
I love spending time with my husband and two adult children. In my spare time, I enjoy cake decorating, sewing, exploring in my Mini Cooper, and playing with my kitty Minion.
