Holistic living can empower you from the inside out. I believe our mind creates our core belief systems, attitudes, and feelings. Our mind affects the health of our body, and in turn, our body speaks to us in different ways. I believe our soul is who we are at our very core—the essential “I AM” creating personal purpose and direction.

I believe we often tend to lose ourselves.  Life can be painful and confusing, exhausting and overwhelming, and we are often held hostage by our inner critic, our past, or difficult experiences.  We can get lost in an identity built around things we cannot control which can lead to dark places, constant worry, and conflictual relationships.

There is a way to release the grip of our hardships so we no longer struggle every day merely surviving . Through holistic living, meaningful relationships, and love for ourselves and others, we can experience life in a new way.  Life moves on and we get to choose how we move with it.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s in Clinical Psychology, I have over 20 years of experience in the clinical and counseling field. With an integrative approach, I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help you redesign mental maps, reframe thought patterns, and learn how thoughts and emotions can influence actions. Let’s clean out your thought closet and replace old, unhealthy ways with fresh, new perspectives.  I include components of DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) such as mindfulness, acceptance, and emotional regulation to help you find strength, peace, confidence, and enjoyment in everyday life. I incorporate SFT (Solution-Focused Therapy) to help you keep moving forward in life with success and accomplishment. I am trained in Gottman Methods and EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy) to help you build healthy communication, understanding, and enrichment in your relationships. I am also trained in EMDR to better help people heal from distressing life events.

With a personalized approach, I love helping people conquer depression and anxiety, navigate a divorce, recover from an affair, manage stress, overcome trauma, release addictions, live in confidence, succeed in life transitions, and enjoy relationships.

I am also an avid wildlife photographer who enjoys traveling to remote destinations, hiking, reading, learning, laughing, and experiencing the wonders of life around me.
